There was reportedly a ton of LeBron to L.A. chatter at the summer league.
LeBron James is reportedly “frustrated” with the Cavaliers’ offseason.
USA TODAY reported on Monday that the Cavs’ star hasn’t been happy with the steps (or lack thereof) the franchise has taken this summer.
So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise when the Washington Post reports that LeBron-to-the-Lakers was a popular topic of discussion during the summer league in Las Vegas.
Several (league executives) felt confident he will head west to Los Angeles next summer, agreeing with the rumblings along those lines that have been going around the league for some time. Coincidental or not, this speculation was given an extra dose of fuel when James showed up at a Lakers Summer League game last Wednesday instead of going to the ESPYs.
If LeBron does end up leaving Cleveland next summer, Los Angeles has to be the heavy favorite.
