Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid believes he should have a near-perfect rating (“at least a 95,” to be exact) in the NBA 2K18 video game, so you can imagine his surprise when he was told he was only an 86.
While Embiid had a phenomenal rookie year, he acknowledged that his injury issues may have played a key role in his rating. Although he averaged 20.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, he played in just 31 games last season. That will definitely hurt a player’s rating.
My Durability rating must’ve not allowed my 2k rating to be at least 95🤔🤔!!!! Gotta work on that #TheProcess

Regardless of durability issues, Embiid will likely be a fan favorite to play with in this year’s game.
After all, the seven-footer says he “can do everything.” That’s an NBA 2K dream come true.
